Fi, also known as Barking Labs, Corp., has launched its latest innovation — the Series 3+ smart dog collar — designed to provide pet owners with round-the-clock insights into their dog’s fitness, health, and location for enhanced peace of mind.
With dogs living longer due to advances in nutrition and care, keeping track of their health is more important than ever. However, veterinary bills and pet insurance remain costly, with the average accident and illness insurance coverage for dogs in 2024 reaching $749.29.
The Fi Series 3+ collar uses advanced AI technology to monitor key health indicators such as daily steps, sleep patterns, meals and hydration, as well as licking and scratching behaviors. This continuous health data can be compiled into detailed reports that owners can share with veterinarians to support proactive care.
In addition to health monitoring, the collar features bright LED lights for easy night-time visibility. Its built-in GPS and LTE-M cellular connectivity allow owners to quickly locate their pets if they wander off, ensuring fast recovery.
The Series 3+ collar is available now directly from the Fi website with a suggested retail price of $99 and an initial $20 activation fee to start the subscription service. Subscription plans are offered at $99 every six months, $189 annually, or $339 for two years. The collar will soon also be available at the Fi Store on Amazon.
