The Baton Rouge Kennel Club and Riverside West Kennel Club of Greater New Orleans recently hosted the annual Jambalaya Cluster Dog Show at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales.
Hundreds of dogs and their owners competed in the show. The New Orleans group held their events from May 29 to 30, while the Baton Rouge group competed from May 31 to June 1.
Visitors enjoyed watching the judging and had the chance to meet many different dog breeds. They also learned about responsible dog ownership and talked with breeders, owners, and handlers.
On-site vendors sold treats, leashes, and gifts for pets.
