Early Tuesday morning in Northern Michigan, a Michigan State Police K-9 played a crucial role in tracking a break-in suspect across five miles.
Troopers from the Traverse City post responded to a home invasion complaint in Blair Township around 8 a.m. on June 3. The homeowner reported spotting a woman on his driveway via his Ring doorbell camera just before she entered the residence and left with an unknown number of items.
The suspect was pursued with the assistance of the MSP dog, who helped troopers follow the trail for miles, aiding in the ongoing investigation.
