Royal Caribbean’s canine crew just got a little cuter. Chief Dog Officers Rover and Sailor officially met for the first time aboard Icon of the Seas, marking a milestone for the cruise line’s heartwarming initiative.
Sailor, the newest pup to join the fleet, will become the face—and tail—of joy on Star of the Seas, launching August 2025 from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida. Following in the pawprints of Rover, the beloved Chief Dog Officer on Icon of the Seas, Sailor’s mission is simple: spread smiles and live her best life while sailing through the Caribbean.
Guests can expect to see Sailor enjoying playtime at destinations like Perfect Day at CocoCay, and relaxing in the most dog-friendly accommodations at sea. The program is developed in partnership with the American Humane Society to ensure the highest standards of care and training.
With this dynamic duo on board, Royal Caribbean is doubling down on making unforgettable memories—for guests and crew alike.
