Minor Fire and Water Damage Reported in Lafayette Street Home; Dog Rescued by Firefighters
A fire caused minor damage to a Lafayette Street home. Firefighters responded quickly and rescued a dog that was trapped upstairs during the incident.
According to a post by Ogdensburg Professional Firefighters Local 1799 on Facebook, Engine 3 and Quint 1 were dispatched to the 100 block of Lafayette Street. An all-call for off-duty personnel was also made to assist in fighting the working structure fire.
