A summer ban on dogs at several beaches in Cornwall is now in effect. Dog owners are not allowed to bring their pets to these beaches during certain hours. Anyone who breaks the rules may face fines.
Cornwall Council enforces these rules at 11 beaches across the region. Some bans started on Wednesday, May 21. More beaches will have restrictions in July and August.
Some privately owned beaches may also have their own dog rules.
