The Guinness World Records has officially crowned its newest titleholder for “Shortest Dog,” and she calls Orlando home.
Pearl, a two-year-old Chihuahua, stands just 3.59 inches tall and weighs only 1.22 pounds. Despite her tiny size, her personality is anything but small. Her owner, Vanesa Semler, describes her as confident, lively, and always eager to soak up the spotlight.
Pearl comes from a distinguished lineage of petite pups. Her mother, Miracle Milly—also owned by the Semler family—was the previous record holder, measuring 3.8 inches tall.
Now a local celebrity affectionately known as Orlando’s “dinkiest diva,” Pearl enjoys tagging along with Semler on city outings, drawing smiles wherever she goes. Though she may be the world’s smallest dog, she lives a full, active life—and yes, she’s in excellent health.
So if you spot a tiny pup with a big attitude around town, it might just be Pearl. Just don’t offer her treats—this record-breaking diva has a figure to maintain.
