Twelve Cross-Breed Puppies Rescued from Unlicensed Dorset Breeder

by Lisa

Twelve eight-week-old puppies have been rescued from an unlicensed dog breeder in Dorset. The cross-breed pups, a mix of Bernese Mountain Dog and German Shepherd, were taken into care by Dorset Council and brought to Margaret Green Animal Rescue near Blandford.

The animal rescue centre said the puppies were not getting proper care or socialisation. Staff at the centre are now working to find them safe and loving homes.

In a creative twist, the rescue team has named the puppies after players and the manager of AFC Bournemouth, the local Premier League football club. Names given include Adam, Antoine, Dango, Evanilson, Illia, Kepa, Lewis, Marcos, Marcus, and Ryan.

Nigel Mason, CEO of Margaret Green Animal Rescue, expressed hope that the football-inspired names will help raise awareness and encourage adoptions.
