Mondi has partnered with French pet food producer Saga Nutrition to launch a fully recyclable packaging solution for Saga’s dry pet food range.
Moving away from traditional multi-material plastics, the new design uses advanced mono-material technology. This shift supports sustainability goals while ensuring premium protection for the product.
The new packaging, called the re/cycle FlexiBag, will debut this October. It meets both Mondi’s Path to Circularity Scorecard and Ceflex’s recycling standards.
Designed for sizes of 3 kilograms and up, the bag offers strong barriers to protect against moisture, fats, and odors.
By adopting this mono-material packaging, Saga Nutrition strengthens its commitment to environmental responsibility. The new design also enhances shelf appeal and includes secure sealing for convenient storage and handling.
