Memphis Animal Services (MAS) announced on June 10 that it received a record-breaking donation of cat food.
Pet supplies company Birdie & Louie generously donated five pallets of cat food to the shelter.
To maximize the impact, MAS partnered with several smaller rescue groups and shelters in the Memphis area to share the donated food.
“Birdie & Louie’s passion for giving back to the community shone brightly with this incredible gift,” MAS wrote on social media. “We were not only grateful, but deeply inspired.
So, in true Southern fashion, we decided to show some hospitality—and pay it forward, Memphis style, with a little grit and grind.”
