The global pet food packaging market is on a strong growth trajectory, fueled by the rising number of pet owners, the trend of pet humanization, and increasing demand for sustainable and convenient packaging solutions.
According to a new report from the IMARC Group, the market reached USD 11.8 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow to USD 17.1 billion by 2033, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.2% from 2025 to 2033.
Growth in e-commerce and the demand for user-friendly packaging, such as pouches and resealable bags, are also contributing to the expansion of the market. At the same time, manufacturers are increasingly adopting eco-friendly packaging designs to meet both regulatory and consumer expectations for sustainability.
