This Mama Dog’s Heart-Shaped Nose is Too Cute — But No One Notices Her at Adoption Events

by Lisa

For Mama Eve, a 3-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier, her charming heart-shaped nose is undeniably the first thing anyone notices. Volunteers and staff at Mercy Full Project in Tampa, FL, constantly remind her that her nose is “too cute for this world,” and we’d agree! It’s a nose so unique that it could belong in a painting.

Mama Eve arrived at Mercy Full Project while pregnant and shortly gave birth to ten puppies, most of whom have already found their forever homes. Unfortunately, despite her undeniable charm, Mama Eve continues to be overlooked at adoption events.

At a recent event, the rescue had high hopes that potential adopters would be drawn to her heart-shaped nose. Yet, despite her unique feature and playful personality, not one person showed interest in her. This marks the second time Mama Eve was passed over in favor of other dogs.

It’s disheartening to think that Mama Eve’s gentle nature and beautiful heart could be overlooked due to misconceptions about Pitbulls. These dogs often suffer from negative stereotypes, but Mama Eve is a true exception. She’s a sweetheart who’s nothing but love, and she deserves a chance to find a loving home.
