The Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) has condemned the deaths of two dogs inside an animal training facility in Marikina City. The incident was reported by Katrina Son on “State of the Nation” on Wednesday.
Two dog owners are now demanding answers after their pets died while in the care of the facility.
Dog owners known as “Karla” and “Sandy” shared their heartbreaking stories on social media. Karla enrolled her dogs in the training center in February, hoping to teach them potty training and simple tricks. Sandy enrolled her two standard poodles in March.
“Karla” said, “We enrolled our dogs so they could learn potty training and some basic tricks.”
PAWS has called for a thorough investigation into the matter to ensure the safety and welfare of animals in such facilities.
