Queen Camilla announced the death of her rescue dog, Beth, in November 2024. She shared a “sad farewell” to her beloved pet in an Instagram post. The Queen was reportedly heartbroken by the loss. In February 2025, she revealed that she had rescued a new puppy, just eight weeks old.
Now, Queen Camilla and King Charles are preparing to attend the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. To mark the event, they have released a photo of the new puppy.
Rebecca English, the Daily Mail’s royal editor, shared a sweet picture of the puppy on X. She wrote, “Meet Moley! The King and Queen will visit the @The_RHS Chelsea Flower Show on Monday to view exhibits including the BBC Radio 2/Monty Don Dog Garden. To mark the occasion @RoyalFamily have released the first picture of Queen Camilla’s new pup!”
Moley was rescued by Queen Camilla from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. King Charles has also welcomed a new pet, a Lagotto Romagnolo dog named Snuff.
Charles and Camilla are expected to enjoy visiting the BBC Radio 2 Dog Garden. This garden was designed by celebrity gardener Monty Don. According to the Express, the names of Camilla’s adopted Jack Russell terrier Bluebell, her new puppy Moley, and her late rescue dog Beth will be featured on the garden path. Charles’s dog Snuff’s name will also appear there.
In November 2024, the official Royal Family Instagram account posted a photo of Queen Camilla and her late dog Beth. The caption read, “A sad farewell to Beth, The Queen’s much-loved companion from @Battersea Dogs and Cats Home who brought such joy, whether on walkies, helping on official duties, or curled up by the fire.”
Battersea Dogs and Cats Home responded with a heartfelt comment: “Thank you for giving Beth the most wonderful life and for always supporting rescue. Rest in peace Beth.”
Thanks to the Chelsea Flower Show’s new exhibit, Beth will receive a beautiful tribute.
