The owners of a 13-year-old mixed breed dog named George are urgently seeking help after their beloved pet went missing on Mother’s Day. Around 7:00 p.m., George, a 70-pound Pit Bull–Doberman mix, jumped the fence in the Silver Springs neighborhood.
At approximately 7:25 p.m. on the same day, a dog matching George’s description was brought into Bark City Veterinary Specialists, located just a tenth of a mile from his home. The veterinary staff scanned the dog’s microchip, which provided the contact information for George’s family. However, despite the matching description, no call was made to the family, and over 24 hours later, George is still missing.
After speaking with the microchip company, the family does not believe the dog brought into the veterinary clinic was George. The family is heartbroken and increasingly concerned for his safety and well-being.
They have reported George’s disappearance to the police and are now asking the community for assistance. George is a 13-year-old mixed breed with distinctive features. If anyone has seen a dog fitting his description or has any information, they are urged to reach out immediately.
